Get Smarter Prep has partnered with William Jewell College to provide ACT preparation in Liberty, MO in order to serve students from the Northland to Kearney and beyond. Prior to each Official Test Date, we will offer our proven ACT Standard and Advanced Courses on the campus of WJC – in the Pryor Learning Commons. The 20-hr Standard Course has been developed for students scoring in the 17-23 range on a previous exam, while the 16-hr Advanced Course has been designated for those students scoring in the 24-29 range.
Get Smarter Prep was founded in 2006 in Overland Park, KS and has been growing ever since. Over the last decade, we’ve helped thousands of students better understand college entrance exams, giving them access to new admission opportunities and additional scholarship money! Since the ACT is a psychometric exam, we focus on the right strategies to fit the exam. While we’ll review vital content and help students discover the trends of the test, we’ll be focused on how best to approach a test so different than what students see day-in, day-out at school.
If you have any questions, you can call us at (913) 322-3400.
Jennifer grew up in Joplin, Missouri and graduated from Webb City High School. While there, she played saxophone in band and jazz band, acted in plays, competed with the speech and debate team, and captained the academic bowl team.
Jennifer chose to pursue her love of music at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. There she obtained a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Saxophone Performance. Upon graduation, Jennifer spent a year in Red Wing, Minnesota learning to repair band instruments (and how to survive in sub-zero temperatures). She moved to Kansas City in 2014, where she studied Nonprofit Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She obtained her Master of Public Administration degree in May of 2016.
Outside of work, Jennifer volunteers her time to various community and activist organizations throughout the Kansas City metro and spends many weekend evenings playing shows with her band. In her down time, she enjoys cuddling with her pets, playing video games, and hunting for four leaf clovers.
Audrey grew up in a tiny town in southwestern Illinois. She graduated with honors from Marquette Catholic High School in Alton, IL, where she spent her spare time writing for the newspaper, acting in plays and musicals, starting an improv team, and leading the International Club.
After high school, Audrey studied Economics and International Studies at Randolph-Macon Woman’s Collegein Lynchburg, VA. She now works full time in the exciting (really!) field of clinical laboratory compliance, in which she develops and conducts training in a corporate setting. In addition, she is a part-time student atUMKC, slowly choreographing a career change in the direction of full-time teaching. Audrey has been with Get Smarter Prep for about five years – and has consistently demonstrated her ability to help students improve their scores!
Audrey spends any remaining time writing flash fiction, baking, and volunteering with (a variety of) local non-profits.
