Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

  • Why should I take a Practice ACT and a Practice SAT?

We recommend that everyone take both a Practice ACT and a Practice SAT. Some students will score about the same on both tests; others, however, will score better on one of them. We want to make sure each student is preparing for his or her best test. Additionally, the practice test score is a baseline score from which to improve! Sign-up here!
  • What is a Scoresback Appointment?

A Scoresback Appointment is a time for you to sit down and discuss your scores with an experienced member of our staff. If you have taken practice tests in our office, we will have those tests graded for you and will talk through them. If you have taken an official test, you can bring that score with you and we will go over it instead. They are a great opportunity to ask any questions you have about the tests and test preparation. Scoresback Appointments usually take 30-60 minutes. After you have taken a Pretest with us, we will contact you to set-up the next step.
  • How do I sign-up for the official SAT?

It is your responsibility to register for the official SAT. Although we would love to do it for you, the process involves us knowing some pretty confidential information (i.e. your SSN). If you do not take the test you’re doing all this prep for it is very likely that your score will be impacted negatively. To register for the official SAT on the College Board website, click here.
